Anesthesia

29,5 cm * 20,5 cm, marker on printing paper with some minor collaged corrections, because I never do sketches/underdrawings. This drawing is from around February 2024, I drew it overnight after returning from an artist talk at a local bar and feeling so so overwhelmed with loneliness I couldn't sleep. I don't talk about it much anymore, but I have lots of moments like this even now. It's a part of my experience which is beyond my control and I don't like sugarcoating that, everyone should be open about their loneliness, it doesn't mean you are somehow defective.
